    I actually enjoyed him in 'Brothers McMullen' and 'She's The One' Ed Byrne's two romantic comedy debuts; obviously he couldn't get any work after that. What you're seeing here seems to be the same character, the same guy in the two movies mentioned. Perhaps a one note actor at best. Bet he's laughing all the way top the bank right now.

    I think the "comedy" of this bit ran out about three commercials ago. I'm not real sure where irony makes a home in this commercial.

    Regarding insurance commercials featuring men in suits, I actually kind of enjoy the current Allstate ads with the "protect yourself from mayhem" campaign.
    That Geico slicktop can suck it. I wish someone would run in and give him a wedgie.
